What is a traffic exchange, hit exchange or surf exchange?

It’s a website where you view other people’s sites and in exchange you enter your
own website’s url to show to other surfers.

If you use or are thinking about using a website traffic exchange or are an amature
webmaster looking for the top traffic exchange tips this free report is for you.

Free to sign up for, most surf bar traffic exchanges offer free sign-up credits to
get you started and offer various ratios, some as much as 1 to 1 exchange ratio.

Most offer upgrades, so that you don’t actually have to spend so much time surfing
and most are free to join.

Although these are mostly good for getting people to look at your business opportunities,
if you use an interesting and informative splash page, you can get some traffic to just
about any type of website or blog.

Whatever you’re doing on the world wide interweb, have fun!

As the owner of a fairly new exchange I wonder if you have any experience in using TE’s to promote blogs, If you feel that advertising blogs on a traffic exchange produces good results I shall start a campaign aimed at bloggers, thanks for a good blog

Thanks for the comment, Graham!

In my opinion, as long as you use a fast loading splash page, you can get some traffic to any kind of site or blog.

I also use javascript popunders on exchanges that allow them, js because they won’t pop if someone has their browser’s popup blocker turned on and I won’t get complaints, and this way the page can load without interfering with surfing and they can see the content when they notice the popunder.

One idea could be to offer to host splash pages designed with preselling a blog’s content in mind.

I have seen lots of Blogger blogs in TEs and they load pretty quick if they don’t contain a large amount of advertising.

But if they contain Adsense or lots of other advertising, I would suggest splash pages or popunders.

Thanks, Douglas
